Katie has performed professionally since she was 17 and worked in theatre and television as a dancer, actress and singer since leaving the London Studio Centre with a Performing Arts Diploma and before that at The Hammond School of Ballet she is also
proud to be a member of the London Philharmonic Choir.

In Theatre, Katie went on to play the lead character Rosemary in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying at the Landor Theatre in London, Louise in Carousel at the Wimbledon Theatre and in Chicago at the Bloomsbury Theatre. She has since been a Principal soloist at the Brick Lane Music Hall and the renowned Leeds City Varieties. She played Dora in a new play called Haunting Dora at Margate’s Theatre Royal for the Bee & Bustle Company for whom she also is a regular Soprano in Music Hall. She took the leading role of Jo in a newly written musical play called If You love Me at the Rosemary Branch Theatre and in a devisory production of How To Behave at the Hampstead Theatre in their opening season and as part of the Educational Script Reading performances at Hampstead Theatre.

Katie has been on national tour visiting most of Britain’s finest Theatres in the Danny La Rue Show as a singer and dancer. She was delighted to produce a full exhibition and afternoon of Danny La Rue’s costumes and memorabilia in October 2014 at the Queen’s Theatre and this will be a repeated event. She started off in summer seasons in rep theatre, playing lead roles in comedy farce, paying tribute to Gracie Fields and Vera Lynn in Duggie Chapman’s touring show We’ll Meet Again and has played Principal Girl in nearly every Pantomime subject around the UK, with Snow White being her personal favourite!

On Television, Katie has appeared in Children’s BBC series Byker Grove, ChuckleVision, The Queen’s Nose, Hope and Glory and The Project. Other credits include Bad Girls, Footballer’s Wives, The Lakes, Chambers, Forty Something and The Armando Iannucci Shows. Films include Bedazzled, High Heels and Low Lives, Sword of Honour for Channel 4, Nicholas Nickleby and a re-make of the film PollyAnna.
She appeared in the trailer for ‘Defectors’ for Challenge TV, an advert for ‘Vanish’ for Living TV and the trailer for Living TV’s ‘Most Haunted’.

Katie has appeared in recitals for Queen’s Theatre, Hampstead Theatre and regularly raises funds for St Margaret’s Hospital and The Princess Alexandra Hospital for their Breast Cancer Research Appeals. She has sung with the Scots Guards at the Grosvenor House Hotel for The Proms Night and produced and performed cabaret nights for Ken Hom’s chain of restaurants owned by Oriental Restaurant Group as a regular guest soprano.

She currently is Creative Programmer at the Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch and produces musical shows including Musicals, Jazz, Opera, short plays and encourages talent in the local community. She performs in regular musical evenings called A Musical Celebration, amongst an eclectic programme of work in the Foyer. Most recently, she devised a cabaret show called Famous Songs by Famous Ladies, with fellow performers Caroline Fields, Jan Hunt and musical director, David Carter. Katie also produces and performs an in house Music Hall at the Queen’s Theatre
to great acclaim.

She belongs to the Concert Artistes Association, as a committee member and the British Music Hall Association.
In July 2014, she became a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Musicians and has just been granted Freedom of the City of London.
